Tanner I usually agree with you on all of your takes , but on this I will say in your examples it can be said the Muslims , Gay , liberals etc do not as well follow the words either , they do not like others who do not believe their way as well .

But as I said earlier I love your writings but in this you are letting your political opinions in way . The problems IS the politics on BOTH sides … so ok we have 1,difference and keep the good writing and correct historical facts 👍

Thank you, Shib. I hear what you’re saying. Every side has its share of wrongdoing, but that doesn’t excuse anyone’s behavior. We can criticize one side in one piece and the other in another. Accountability doesn’t work if one side’s wrongs become a free pass for the other.

For example, I’ve been a lifelong proud progressive, but I refuse to join the mob that demonizes people like J.K. Rowling just for disagreeing. If we can’t debate ideas without moral outrage, progressivism stops being progress—it becomes dogma. And that’s just religion all over again: “I know what’s right, and who are you to question?” I’m planning to write about that in another article.
